"From Brokenness to Wholeness"  - Talk by Fr Michael Shields

Fr Michael Shields is a priest who has devoted his life to serving the people of Siberia and already gave a talk on “Freedom” in Hampton in August.  Native of Alaska and ordained a diocesan priest there, he was moved by a visit with his Bishop to Far East Siberia.  Influenced by the spirituality of Blessed Charles de Foucauld, he asked to go and serve the Church there and has been living in Magadan, a former workcamp or gulag for the last 18 years. 
We are delighted to welcome him back to Hampton on his way to preach at the Annual All-night vigil at Knock 7/8th December.
